Mirror Monday | emotional


Emotions can be heavy.

Emotions can be uncomfortable.

Emotions are feelings.


Clouds hide the sun.

Rain drops tap the window pane.

Thunder rolls deeply.

Lightning bursts.

Fearfully, you wonder: 

how long it will last?

Am I safe?

Wait it out and see!


When the clouds clear, 

and the sun reappears.

Be on the lookout,

a rainbow is near!



Emotions are filled with energy. Energy the body will either internalize or express. Manage it or it will manage you. This is essential to creating a life of pure bliss for yourself.

  • managing stress

  • asking for help

  • mindfulness

  • deep breathing

  • journaling

  • sleeping for 8 hours

Take some time and reflect. Choose a couple of questions and record your reflections. This might happen via an “old school” hand-written journal or new age digital notes or voice notes using apps like Otter. 


  1. What would I look like if this system were to optimally function?

  2. How much time do I dedicate to this system of my life?

  3. What’s going well and what could be better?

  4. Who might I call on for support?

  5. What barriers are present and how might I remove them?

  6. How might I challenge myself?

  7. How do I express energy?

Shoutout to you for allowing yourself to feel your emotions. You were on the beaching, thinking and reflecting. And honey, you felt it DEEPLY. The tears came running and you let them flow. Not every tear represents sadness but there is very much deep emotion.
